The Civic Chamber begins to observe the situation within retirement homes in all the Russian regions with the help of NGO’s and volunteers. The main goal of Civic Chamber members decided to examine conditions of residing, medical and social service in professional establishments for old persons. The first results of monitoring will be presented in the end of November at the special hearings devoted to a problem of a modern situation with human rights in the Russian retirement homes.
